VISULAS YAG III

Disruption in just 4 nanoseconds. Clear-cut. Controlled. Focused. The ZEISS VISULAS YAG III photodisruption laser ® brings together third-generation optical experience, technological excellence and a deep understanding of practical applications. Its superbly focused yet gentle cutting action has earned the device its reputation as the “sensitive scalpel” amongst secondary cataract lasers.

The VISULAS® YAG III is more than a disruption laser. It offers an outstanding range of diagnostic possibilities and permits high-precision examinations to be carried out immediately before and after treatment – without the need to move the patient. The extensive selection of optional accessories and the mobile transport case perfectly complement the laser’s wide functional scope.

Highlights

The VISULAS® YAG III Combi is the “multi-purpose” laser for photocoagulation and secondary cataract treatment and for established glaucoma therapies. At the push of a button you can switch between posterior and anterior laser treatment – a space-saving and effi cient solution.

Space saving and flexible

Both lasers also perform effectively as individual units. The VISULAS 532s can be used in the operating room while the VISULAS YAG III can continue to be used with the combi slit lamp.

Only as much energy as necessary

The VISULAS YAG III Combi focuses the optimum amount of YAG laser energy directly to the target thanks to its Super-Gaussian beam profile. It therefore requires less energy to achieve the optical breakdown, as little as 2.5 mJ in air. The result: high-precision treatment to the patient using a minimum of laser energy.

Variable focus shift

The focal point of the aiming beam is set precisely and reproducibly before, behind or directly at the focal point of the disruption laser.

Gentle laser treatment

The ParFocus™ zoom system of the VISULAS 532s delivers a homogeneous, sharply defined and reproducible laser spot on the retina and minimizes heat-related side-effects on the patient’s cornea.

Navigating with fingertip precision

The coagulation laser is always visible in the center of the slit lamp illuminated field thanks to the coaxial illumination and electronic micromanipulator integrated into the joystick of the combi slit lamp. The release button for the YAG laser is also built into the slit lamp joystick.

Options & Accessories

The VISULAS® Trion Combi offers an outstanding range of diagnostic possibilities and permits high-precision examinations to be carried out immediately before and after treatment – without any need to move the patient. A wide range of applicators and high-quality accessories complete the high-performance, multifaceted VISULAS Trion Combi system.

ACCENTO Eyepiece: displays important treatment parameters while maintaining a clear overview of the treatment area.

ACCENTO Ergo Tube – The convenient viewing angle: Treatment in a comfortable and relaxed position – even after several hours of laser therapy.

Parallel or convergent tubes: It is possible to choose the device that provides the greatest convenience.

DigiCam adapter: Supports a broad range of standard camcorders and digital cameras. It is suitable for demonstrations to large groups and for digital documentation.

Applanation Tonometer: It permits direct measurement of intraocular pressure without any need to move the patient.

Laser warning light: Laser warning light outside the laser therapy room indicates when the laser is switched on.

Instrument table: Vertically-adjustable instrument table is also suitable for patients in wheelchairs.

Contact lenses: Numerous high quality contact lenses for therapeutic laser applications such as iridotomy, trabeculoplasty and retinal photocoagulation.

Safety goggles: Attractively designed laser safety goggles for reliable protection as per DIN EN 207.

Transport case: Transport case to store and carry your laser plus accessories.
